April 1st sees the opening of the Victoria and Albert Museum's celebration of Vivienne Westwood with over 150 pieces on show sourced from Westwood's personal collections as well as the V&A archives. From her collaborative days with Malcolm McLaren, there are exhibits from the Pirate collection and garments which were sold in the King's Road shop, including a bones T-shirt which Westwood made by boiling chicken bones and drilling them onto the shirt to spell Rock. Examples of Westwood's obsession and unique interpretations of traditional British clothing abound and must-see exhibits include the Harris tweed crown, super-elevated Ghille platform sh
