Calvin Klein No Longer To Design ClothesCalvin Klein, a leading fashion designer recently announced that he is no longer the chief designer of the brand that takes his name.
The 60-year-old told Women's Wear Daily his firm's design directors Francisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli are now in charge of creating the signature collections.
He revealed his role at the firm, which was bought by Phillips-Van Heusen Corp for $430 million recently, is now as "consulting creative director" and insisted his decision to take more of a backseat had nothing to do with substance abuse problems.
