Flip Flops and Socks Help Travelers Through Airport CheckpointsCloudyreason's new product "Flip Flop Socks" are coming to the aid of the aggravated traveler, offering warm feet and the potential for a quick trip through airport checkpoints.
Wearing sandals on a plane trip makes it easy to slip your shoes off if questioned at the screening area, but many people do not want to stand in their bare feet at such a public venue, not to mention having to deal with cold feet in the cooler temperatures. Flip Flop Socks and sandals cover the feet and enable travelers to wear sandals during travel.
Some of the retailers are even marking their products "airport friendly" on the packaging. "Flip Flop Socks are airport friendly, when worn with a pair of rubber or leather flip flops," says Michele Baer, company owner.
"Our customers have been telling us they love to wear Flip Flop Socks and their thong sandals, on the plane and on long car trips, they love to have their feet free to move and they love how easy it is to slip sandals off and on and still have warm feet," says Baer. Cloudyreason sales are up 500% this year from when they first debuted last year, they are available at retail locations around the U.S. or online.
