Delta and Richard Tyler Unveil New Uniform DesignLos Angeles-based fashion designer Richard Tyler, renowned for his impeccable tailoring and elegant eveningwear, will debut his newly designed Delta Air Lines uniform collection on the runway during Fall 2005 New York Fashion Week.
Tyler's couture designs, which have been worn on the red carpet by such celebrities as Jamie Lee Curtis, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman, Rachel Griffiths, Catherine Zeta Jones, Pierce Brosnan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Heather Locklear and Faith Hill among others, will also be shown on the runway in conjunction with the new Delta uniform collection. The pairing of these two elements on the runway is unique to the fashion industry, and promises to be an exceptional interpretation of both form and function.
The sophisticated and perfectly tailored new uniforms will be worn by more than 20,000 Delta Air Lines public contact employees worldwide beginning early 2006. The new look is part of the airline's transformation plan, long-term brand strategy and investment in distinguishing itself in the marketplace.
