Textile Exports From Denizli Increase 9.6 PercentTextile and ready-to-wear exports from western Denizli province increased by 9.65 percent in May 2003 when compared with the same month of the previous year.
According to figures of Denizli Textile and Ready-to-wear Exporters Association, Denizli made 67 million 186 thousand U.S. dollars of textile and ready-to-wear exports in May 2003.
Exports from Denizli decreased by 27.56 percent to 306 million 503 thousand U.S. dollars between January 1 and May 31, 2003.
Exports to Germany rose by 42.84 percent, to Britain by 24.86 percent, to France by 35.56 percent, to Italy by 49.28 percent, and to the Netherlands by 54.22 percent.
