AIGA DC Good Design is Smart Business 9

AIGA DC: Good Design is Smart Business 9

Good design is all around us, even in the locker room.

Designing for sports - be it an athlete or a fan - is all about knowing your consumer, and building relationships based on a holistic understanding of those needs.

AIGA DC's Good Design is Smart Business 9, sponsored by AOL and Neenah Paper, invites you to explore how designers working in this niche market create loyal fans through a passionate understanding of their consumers, and the importance of incorporating their needs in the design process.

Moderator Ed Gold, professor at the University of Baltimore and author of The Business of Graphic Design, will lead us in a discussion with two top designers in the field of sports design, Todd Radom, of Todd Radom Design, and Marcus Stephens, of Under Armour.

Join us as we explore how good design can make the difference from how we play the game to how we find a local identity through our sports teams.

This program will help demonstrate how, even in sports, good design is the MVP for smart businesses.

The capabilities of Acrobat 3D go much further, enabling users to enhance the interactivity of 3D objects in PDF documents by editing lighting, adding textures and materials, and creating animations such as assembly and disassembly instructions.

Acrobat 3D users can then enable suppliers, partners and customers to participate in a more efficient document review process simply using Adobe Reader.
