Pantone, the global authority on color, together with Michele Bernhardt, the world renowned author, healer and intuitive, has unveiled Colorstrology, a new system that infuses elements of astrology and numerology.
Colorstrology combines these elements with the spirituality of color to create a color profile for every day of the year.
Pantone Colorstrology offers information about the emotional and spiritual powers of color for personal exploration and empowerment. Michele Bernhardt distilled core traits for each month and day, such as the sun sign and numerological vibration of the date, and combined the corresponding colors to reveal each day's unique color.

Subterfuge Publishing, announced today the details of their "Book Cover Contest" for their politically charged Novel "Hulagu's Web - The presidential pursuit of Senator Katherine Laforge."
The contest is sponsored by the 93 year old Dick Blick Art Material Company of Galesburg, Il, Subterfuge Publishing of Lumberton, TX and the Tampa, Florida Rentacoder.com company a subsidiary of Exhedra Solutions, Inc.
The official sponsors of the contest will award a first-place cash prize of $500.00 for the winning book cover design.
The second and third prize winners will receive cash prizes of $20.00 and $10.00 respectively plus gift certificates from the Dick Blick Art Material Company.
The winning entry will be used, as the basis for the actual cover for the novel "Hulagu̵ 7;s Web - The presidential pursuit of Senator Katherine Laforge" and the winning artist will be given full credit for their contribution towards the final design.
The Book Cover Design Contest is open to any talented artist who follows the contest's rules.

The Dimension 3D Printing Group announced today the launch of "Extreme Redesign: The 3D Printing Challenge," a global design and 3D printing contest for high school and secondary students that will award $18,000 in scholarships to individual and team winners.
Whether it's a new perspective on an everyday product or a fresh vision for updating a famous piece of art, animation or architecture, Dimension is calling on computer-aided-des ign (CAD) students worldwide to send in their most creative, useful and innovative Extreme Redesigns.
To enter, students or teams send a .stl file of their Extreme Redesign to Dimension along with a completed submission form, including a 200-word description of the value and benefit of the Extreme Redesign part. Dimension will then send entrants a 3D print of their redesign they can hold in their hands and evaluate. From there, entrants have the opportunity to make any necessary design improvements and develop a second iteration for final submission.

RedBedlam, developer of the historically authentic MMORPG Roma Victor has announced the winner of the Roma Victor logo design competition. The winning entry, which features a stylised Roman legionary's helmet and a simple spear motif, was submitted by Miss Bahar Sener, a Turkish national currently studying for her PhD at Loughborough University in England.
The Roma Victor logo design competition was announced on March 29th 2004. "We were hugely impressed with the standard of entries and narrowing down a shortlist of finalists was tough, but selecting the winner was even tougher" commented Kerry Fraser-Robinson, RedBedlam's President & Managing Director. "Fortunately , and as always, the Roma Victor Community was there to provide feedback and ultimately Bahar's design proved to be the most popular with both the growing Community and all of us here at RedBedlam."
Bahar will be presented with a replica 2nd century Gladius sword embossed with her own design. "Bahar's design will form the basis for all variations of the new Roma Victor logo and will be presented across a diverse range of media and promotions for years to come", added Nick Witcher, RedBedlam's Communications Director.
Roma Victor will launch early in 2005, allowing tens of thousands of players to shape their own virtual Roman Empire.

Boston's Independent Media Center is contemplating conquering the fashion world with our very own line of upper-torso wear.
Being an open source media center, we felt that the best thing to do is give everyone a chance to come up with the winning design(s). After all, we are you, you are us and so on... The winner(s) will receive a year long subscription to the bi-weekly Boston Independent newspaper (that will debut in the next month or so) and two free T-shirts with their own winning design printed on them! Not to mention the satisfaction of promoting the future of Boston's very own independent media source, working hard to bring you the truth and give you the tools to tell it.
Guidelines are few and far in between, but we would like the shirt to say "Boston Independent Media Center" or "Boston Indymedia" and maybe include our website address bostonimc org in small print or something. We also like the idea of having colorful T's not just the same old black and white, so maybe including ink and shirt color schemes would boost your chances.
However, if you decide on a multi-color design remember that we have next to no budget down here and will probably lean towards a one ink color design. The only way around that is to make a multi color design so def that it inspires us to raise more ca$h for printing.
