You are cordially invited to submit work to the 3rd annual Coupe International Design and Image Competition. This yearly spectacle showcases the very best and brightest in their respective industries and mediums. The competition's first two annuals included the work of Cahan and Associates, Nothing Medialab, Concrete, Segura inc., Aesthetic Apparatus, The Dialogue Collective, Samata Mason, Paprika, and many many more. So feel free to enter both client-based work and personal projects, design in the traditional sense and not so traditional. photography, both published and unpublished. Art and illustration. Web sites and laser guns. If you have some work that you wouldn't dare enter in other competitions, then this is the one you've been waiting for.
All winning entries will be featured, in all their glory, along with contact info in the fall 2004 issue of Coupe. Each winning entrant - designer, photographer, artist or firm - will receive a winner's certificate, and one copy of the Awards issue. One winning entry will be chosen as best of Show and will open the issue.

 The Altpick.com Awards gives artists permission to assume dominant and submissive roles in the critical process of judging.
Photographers, illustrators, designers and new media artists who enter are judged by their peers for the "Popular Vote" and by a team of top industry professionals for the "Jury Vote"
All entries must be submitted by July 9th 2004.
Voting begins July 26th and will end August 20th.
Winners for both the Popular and the Jury Vote will be announced on altpickawards.com September 2004. Selected winners will also appear in The 2005 Alternative Pick and/ or ALT Pick Magazine.

How To Submit Files
We accept digital files via the entry form ONLY.
To enter images please go to the login / register pages to begin the process.
Image Submissions:
-JPEG or GIF files
-Horizontal files should be no wider than 600 pixels wide.
-Vertical files should be no taller than 450 pixels tall.
-Square files should be 450pixels x 450pixels.
-All files need to be RGB at a resolution of 72dpi.
-File size must be less than 350k.

 The 19th International Poster Biennial (IPB)*, Warsaw 2004, has announced its Programme of Events. The IPB presents poster work created world-wide during the period between 2002 and 2003 and aims to promote and compare the most significant achievements of that time. The event is being organised by the Poster Museum at Wilanow Department of the National Museum in Warsaw and Polish Poster Foundation. The 19th IPB 2004 Exhibition will run from 5 June to 26 September 2004.
The IPB Office accepted 2295 works from 762 designers in 47 countries. The Qualifying Committee for the Competitive Exhibition selected 453 posters submitted by 277 designers from 33 countries. Posters were divided into the categories 'ideological,' 'cultural,' 'advertising' and 'debuts'.
