Calling all illustrators, image-makers, picture makers, graphic artists, graphic designers and artists, the AOI is planning a one-day conference aimed at professional illustrators and creatives from illustration-related fields, as well as students who will have the chance to join leading industry experts, to discuss current trends shaping the industry.
The format will include presentations and cross-disciplinary panel discussions where topics raised during the day will be thrown open to debate with questions from the floor.

200 Best Illustrators Worldwide 2007 / 2008 showcases the work of 200 of the world's best Illustrators in a volume numbering more than 400 pages.
Each illustrator featured was nominated by top art directors worldwide.
Submissions were accepted only if the images in question had been published in an advertising campaign produced no longer than 18 months ago.
Final selection was made by an international jury.
The names of the illustrator, agency, art director and client appear under each image.
The index of the book also lists full contact details for each photographer.
A further advantage of the book is the unique flip cover system.
This enables you to select the photographer from the index and to flip open the relevant page in the book at the same time.
Each illustrator featured in the 200 Best Illustrators volume has a twelve-image web portfolio complete with full online contact details.
