For 53 episodes of meaningful design interviews and creative hi-jinks, the visual communication industry's jesters from Be A Design Cast, Nate Voss and Donovan Beery, have struck out on their own with a new online podcast, The Reflex Blue Show.
Episode One features Edwardsville, IL (St. Louis) designer, Steve Hartman, in his first-ever audio interview.
"What a blast it was," Hartman says. "It's not like it's NPR with Terry Gross or anything, but I was still a little nervous.
In the end, I had a great time." Hartman continues, "Anyone can do a podcast with enough technology at their disposal, but Nate and Donovan are doing something that adds to the graphic design industry.
These two guys from Omaha are shaping and enhancing the design community... and having fun doing it."

On May 7th the world's top creatives, advertising agency CEOs and heads of multinational brands from across the globe will converge on Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City for advertising's equivalent of the Oscars, the 33rd Annual One Show gala awards ceremony.
Produced by The One Club, the foremost nonprofit organization promoting creative excellence in advertising, presenters will award the coveted Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencils for the best print, television, radio and innovative media of the year.
"Winning a One Show Pencil is a career-defining honor," says Mary Warlick, Chief Executive Officer of The One Club.

The One Show awards program is part of One Show Festival Week which for the first time will include One Show Design on May 6th at the Chelsea Art Museum.While design has been a part of the One Show since 2001, in 2007 a separate design awards ceremony was launched due to the growing emphasis on good design in the consumer marketplace and the overwhelming increase in entries in the design categories.

The exhibition offers an insight into the diversity of graphic works which Nicolaus Ott and Bernard Stein produced during thirty works of their working together.
The exhibits are characterised by a clear-cut articulation of text and image within a balanced structure of form.
Script and picture are carriers of information and forms carrying meaning at the same time.
With their posters and book designs, Ott and Stein provided new impulses in graphic design, earning themselves a reputation on an international level as well.
They lent a new face to numerous institutions, including the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (National Museums in Berlin).
The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue listing the graphic designer's complete poster oeuvre as well as the holdings of their work at the Kunstbibliothek (Art Library).

The 32nd edition of the Delta Awards has ended with great success in terms of the number of participants.
The board of directors of ADI, the body responsible for organising the Delta Awards, has expressed great satisfaction at the large audience present at the award ceremony.
More than 600 people were present at the Delta Awards Eventing, and nearly 4000 people have visited the exhibition at the FAD space in Barcelona.
The Delta Awards Catalogue 2007 has been released, which, along with the website, highlights the various products submitted.
Uli Marchesteiner, the ADI President stated: "As this prestigious competitions still needs to grow and improve further, we are already working on the next edition of the International Delta Awards, to be held in 20009, and which will continue to progress towards its consolidation in the international arena.
We would like to invite you to participate in future editions, and to take advantage of the work that ADI is undertaking in promoting the good design to be found in this country."

The fifth annual Design Legends Gala will be held on Wednesday, September 18 at Chelsea Piers in New York City.
This event will honor recipients of the AIGA medal, AIGA Corporate Leadership Award, AIGA Fellow, Winterhouse Award for Design Writing & Criticism and Worldstudio AIGA scholarships.
