 Teva (a division of Deckers Outdoor Corporation) has tapped Planet Propaganda to help increase the leading outdoor footwear brand's presence among specialty outdoor retailers and their customers.
The first Planet project for Teva included designing an interactive interface and content for touch-screen display units appearing in specialty outdoor retailers for the Spring 2008 season.
A soft launch of this in-store display unit was tested with a hand-picked group of Teva retailers.
Based on the success of the November 2007 pilot, the program debuts nationwide in March 2008 with 100 specialty outdoor retailers (in partnership with technology provider Wireless Ronin) featuring expanded multi-media content about Teva products and collections, as well as its events, athletes, and culture.
"We've always been big fans of Teva's authenticity, originality, and performance heritage," said Michael Murray, Planet Propaganda's senior brand manager.
"Creating the content and interface required us to draw on literally all of Planet's different specialties, across design, motion, interactive, and strategy.
We jumped at the chance to help tell Teva's story in such an innovative way."

 On Thursday March 27, PSFK hosts a day of trends, inspiration and creative ideas.
Designed to fuel creative professionals, speakers and topics have been selected from a wide range of industries.
The day will include an interview with Eric Ripert (the NYC based chef with three Michelin stars) on how he finds inspiration to continually update his menus and brand; to a review of social media and the creative opportunities that it presents, to an exploration of New York culture; to an insight into how collaborative co-working is fueling a diverse range of businesses including NASA and Etsy.com; to a session to deliberate solutions for the problems faced by three charities that the Art Directors Club sponsors.

 New York-based HUSH collaborated with Nike to bring diversity of style and imagery to the iconic brand with a series of large format images displayed in Niketown and NikeID stores throughout the United States and Europe.
The dynamic imagery is delivered directly to the consumer through two core concepts.
In Splash, a blank white shoe stomps into a puddle of paint.
In Stitch, a shoe is frozen in time as new layers and colors are sewn onto it.
Both of these displays are perfectly paired with an expansive wall filled with Nike shoes in an array of styles.
In years past NikeID was imaged via straight product photography showcasing some of the various shoe styles available.
At retail centers one could go to a Kiosk to create a customized shoe and that was the end of the consumer relationship with the process and brand.
This time around, Nike opted to revamp the entire process by building a "customization" statement that traverses through the entire consumer experience from a visual, experiential and services stand point.
"We were so psyched to work on this project.
It was a great departure from the broadcast or commercial projects we've been working on recently, and allowed the entire studio to stretch their creative muscles," noted HUSH director David Schwarz.
