Pentagram Announces Changes in its San Francisco OfficeThe international multi-disciplinary design consultancy Pentagram has announced today changes in its San Francisco office, resulting from the upcoming departure of partner Robert Brunner, effective July 2007.
Brunner intends to pursue a range of product development opportunities, as well as continue the industrial design work upon which he has built his reputation.
San Francisco partners Kit Hinrichs and Lorenzo Apicella will continue to direct the work of the office in graphics, architecture and environmental design.
Brunner has been a Pentagram partner since January 1996.
"Being part of the Pentagram partnership has been a great experience and an important part of my professional life," said Robert Brunner.
"But the time has come for me to try something new.
This path will give me the platform I need to broaden my work and my career, and focus specifically on product development.
Pentagram San Francisco will continue to grow and thrive, and I see my team and I continuing to work with the office on key brand development projects."
Pentagram has a long history of creating leading product design dating back to one of the company's original founders, the legendary Kenneth Grange.
Product design will continue as a discipline at Pentagram through the London office and partner Daniel Weil.
