Brandwidth Create Identity for Lexus Symphony Orchestra12 Lexus LS 460s are preparing to take a bow at two classical concerts produced and directed by Brandwidth.
The "orchestra" will perform using one of the finest in-car audio systems in the world: the 19-speaker Mark Levinson Reference Surround Sound.
Original scores were recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra and will form part of a Proms Spectacular this summer.
To accompany the concerts, Brandwidth created a visual character for each unique musical piece.
The first contains darker imagery with the musical staves providing an animated narrative, leading us through a fictional landscape and forming a shape similar to a winding road.
The surrounding landscape contains stylised mountain ranges formed by sound waves which provide a dramatic sense of depth.
The second piece has a lighter feel, with the main graphic elements arranged in a reflective silver environment.
The oval ends to the music notes provide the "characters" that lead us through the visual experience.
Each moves in time with the music and introduces content from the "making of" documentary.
A new identity has been created for the project - the Lexus Symphony Orchestra (LSO) and this encapsulates both animation styles, with the flexibility to work in both colour ranges and sit comfortably within existing Lexus branding.
