Sony Ericsson Grows Relationship with McCann EricksonSony Ericsson announced that it would be extending its current relationship with external partner agencies to McCann Erickson London to include its worldwide advertising and communications brief.
"We have very ambitious goals for the Sony Ericsson brand," said Dee Dutta, Corporate Vice President and Head of Marketing at Sony Ericsson based in London.
"Moving forward, we are looking at increased integration across all of our marketing disciplines including online, print, TV and retail as well as greater consumer engagement.
McCann Erickson has a deep understanding of how this works and can help us to grow the brand globally even further."
McCann Erickson London worked with Sony Ericsson in the past on a campaign to launch a new range of phones.
This latest announcement sees the renewal of a dialogue between Sony Ericsson and McCann Erickson which began a few years ago.
McCann Erickson will work closely with the Sony Ericsson team in London and will focus on global campaigns Dee Dutta added, "Saatchi and Saatchi have done a good job for us so far, especially at a regional level, and they will continue to be a partner of Sony Ericsson."
