Images 32: The Best of British Contemporary Illustration 2008The Association of Illustrators (AOI) announced Images - the best of British contemporary illustration, the most prestigious and comprehensive illustration award show in the UK today.
The show includes artwork from the widespread "Raise Them On Robinsons" campaign, commissioned by BBH and delightfully illustrated by Adrian Johnson, sharp witty comment on "Why men can't manage women" from Modern Toss, location sketches of a soldiers work in Afghanistan by Matthew Cook, covers of the successful Northern Lights trilogy created by Dominic Harman, satire from Ian Pollock, Lara Harwood's Notting Hill Carnival Poster and a Zombie Apocalypse by Rod Hunt.
The exhibition will include around 400 artworks that have been selected by an expert panel of internationally acclaimed judges, including Senior Art Buyer of Ogilvy NY, Mike Hahn; Art Director of Saatchi & Saatchi NY, Menno Kluin; Design Week's Art Director, Ivan Cottrell; The Guardian's Creative Manager, Gina Cross, and Stefan Ostermeier from award winning German design agency Brand Eins.
