Culture Advertising Design Wins Three American Graphic Design AwardsCulture Advertising Design, recently received three awards in the American Graphic Design competition sponsored by Graphic Design: USA magazine.
The winning entries will be featured in the magazine's December issue.
GD:USA competition is considered one of the most highly esteemed in the design community.
Nearly 11,000 entries from U.S.-based advertising agencies, graphic design firms, and corporate in-house creative departments were reviewed, of which only 10 percent were chosen.
From this narrow percentage, Culture A.D. won three awards, two for the Independent Black Film Festival (IBFF) event graphics and a logo for the Concept Engineers.
The IBFF awarded designs were a "Blazing" 2005 event logo and an "Official pick" logo which denotes the official jury selection for the film competition.
The third award, a logo for the Concept Engineers was a completely new brand identity for the client.
