Logo Design Competition for the Hong Kong Design InstituteThe Vocational Training Council (VTC) is Hong Kong's biggest vocational education and training institution which provides job related training and education at the sub-degree level to 160,000 people every year mainly through its 9 IVE campuses, 15 Training and Development Centers, the School of Business and Information Systems and the Institute of Professional Education and Knowledge.
The VTC is bringing together its three strong design related departments, namely Design, Fashion & Textiles, and Printing & Digital Media, with a full time student population about 4000, to establish the "Hong Kong Design Institute" with a new look in a new location.
The purpose is to foster a synergy within the design disciplines and to further build a creative and dynamic teaching and learning environment, adding value to the services and opportunities to students so as to meet the future needs of the region's commercial and industrial infrastructure.
The Competition is open to all designers, design educators, design students, individuals, institutions, organisations and companies in Hong Kong and overseas.
All participants of the designs must be at least 18 years of age on the date the Entry Form is signed.
