Stiftung Buchkunst was founded 1966 to the public aware of good bookdesign.
Every year they search for the "most beautiful and most excellent book designs".
This year 942 books were nominated in eight categories.
In total 45 books were rewarded with a price and twelve books received a special mention.
The award winning books all stand out by their design quality, concept and highly technical finishing.
