Front-End CSS/XHTML Developer
Boxx3G International is seeking a CSS/XHTML guru for a Front-End HTML Developer position. The ideal candidate should understand the separation of content from design, scoff at the mention of using tables and know when and when NOT to use Dreamweaver. Should write validating, standards-compliant, and semantically-rich code and be aware of cross-browser compatibility and bugs. Translations from the designs to final code should be a match, pixel-for-pixel.
Qualifications and Skills
- XHTML/CSS
- Aware of W3C Standards and Specifications
- Cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
- Excellent knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Knowledge, experience with source/version control systems and structured deployment practices
Responsibilities
- Will take the lead in translating design comps into HTML/XHTML pages
- Work with the web developer to integrate back-end code
