Game Art Classes Offered Online by Sessions Online Schools of Art & Design

January 23, 2007  |  Levent OZLER

Sessions Online Schools of Art and Design has quietly been developing a game art program of classes with a remarkable faculty and advisory board.

The program will launch as a Certificate Program in Game Art in the late spring and will be offered through Sessions Online Schools of Game Art and Design.

Until then, Sessions has opened several of the Program's individual classes for enrollment to their Design School's current Certificate students, as well as to non-Sessions students interested in exploring Game Art as a career option.

"Development for this program was initiated two years ago.

We have approached the curriculum with the objective of preparing game artists with a reel that will help them break into the game industry.

Our advisory board and faculty are all professionals working in the game industry and for some of the hottest game development studios.

As a result, our game art classes are practical and up-to-the-minute in terms of relevance to the skills today's game artist needs," states Doris Granatowski, Sessions CEO.

Until the Game Art School opens its virtual doors in the spring, interested designers can enroll in the game art classes online at currently reduced tuition rates.

Completed classes can later be applied to the Game Art Certificate.
