January 27, 2007 | Levent OZLER
The terms of entry for this internationally renowned iF competition are now available online.
"Early birds" who register by March 1 qualify for a corresponding discount; the regular registration deadline is April 13.
The awards ceremony takes place on August 31 - the traditional date on which the yearbook for the iF communication design award also appears.
Projects can be submitted in any of the following five categories: digital media, print media, corporate architecture, cross-media, and too good to be true.
All entries in the "digital media" category are additionally eligible for a special prize, the CeBIT usability award 2007.
This prize, being offered for the second time by Deutsche Messe AG, is dedicated to digital projects which are outstandingly usable - a distinction which includes user-friendly, target-group oriented navigation.
The winner of this award will be included in the PR and publicity campaigns for CeBIT 2008, equating to a media volume of EUR 250,000.
