Two programs considering major themes raised by the physical development of New York City during the last quarter of the twentieth-century, coinciding with the publication of New York 2000: Architecture and Urbanism Between the Bicentennial and the Millennium, by Robert A.M. Stern, David Fishman, and Jacob Tilove (The Monacelli Press, 2006).
The City as Stage and The Good, the Bad, and the Appropriate panel discussions will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an introduction by Robert A.M. Stern.
