Helene Binet: Photographic Works 1986-2007
January 27, 2007 | Levent OZLER
Helene Binet has photographed some of the world's most seminal buildings and has been commissioned by leading architects.
The aim is to interpret rather than document an object.
Her images assume the status of independent works of art; hers is a world of shadows, light and dark etched across the details she focuses on.
A series of Binet's landscape photographs, shot in Switzerland, will be also form part of the exhibition.
Helene Binet was born in Switzerland, studied photography in Rome and is now based in London.
Her work has featured in numerous solo and group shows worldwide.
