Month of Design is an internationally recognised festival of know-how and creativity in product design, architecture and fashion. This event provides a unique annual setting, bringing together the most aspiring and successful companies with their design strategies, designers, and researchers with a business vision, and brand experts with market imagination. Month of Design rewards them, and provides a stage for their most lucid ideas and an exhibition space for the most intriguing images; it takes them out into the city, inviting them among the people, to a party. The event is a distillation of the region's knowledge and creativity, an annual concerto of forms, visions and market success. Month of Design disseminates creativity as a value, creates a thinking environment for innovation, and rewards and honours the best.
On its fifth anniversary, Month of Design is acquiring a new dimension - for the first time we are reaching into the Mediterranean, and presenting Ljubljana as the creative capital of the countries of Mediterranean Europe.
Month of Design is the "Stars & Stories" Awards, the "Brands & Brains" Conference, exhibitions, "Practices & Parties" events, Mediterranean horizons and directions.
This international festival is growing by the year, evolving and attracting more and more design professionals and aficionados from all over Europe.
