Christopher Pink BonnstetterRiot/New York has added Christopher "Pink" Bonnstetter as the company's new CG Supervisor. Pink will be responsible for expanding the New York CG/visual effects operations of the company. The announcement was made this morning by Riot Managing Director Michael Taylor and Riot/New York Executive Producer D. Todd Davidovich.

"The addition of CG Supervisor Christopher "Pink" Bonnstetter to Riot/New York reinforces the company's commitment to expanding its visual effects role in the New York market and strengthening the bi-coastal brand with top creative talent," comments Taylor.

"Pink's vast wealth of knowledge in building CG teams and pipelines combined with his artistic talent is a strong catalyst for the creative direction Riot intends to embrace," adds Davidovich.

Pink began his entertainment industry career at Boss Films after attending an arts-focused high school where he studied print design. He started at Boss in the mid 1990s as an intern, and soon became a self-taught artist. Contributing primarily to feature films during his tenure at Boss, Pink got his first breaks on such movies as "Species," "Airforce One," and "The Fantasticks." After Boss, Pink's successful "permalance" career included stints at Asylum, Believe, Hydraulx and Money Shots. At Asylum, he continued to contribute to feature films, working on such well-known projects as "X-Men," "Black Hawk Down," and "Minority Report." He also contributed to "Master and Commander," which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Visual Effects. His most recent credits include feature films: "Alien vrs. Predator 2," "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer," and "The Invasion." Pink began working on commercials and music videos at Asylum as well. His commercial credits include spots for Ford, Nintendo, Boeing, Chevy and Coke, just to name a few. He has worked on music videos for such artists as Outkast, Metallica, The Offspring and Dave Matthews Band.

Bringing his long "permalance" career to a close, Pink has accepted this permanent position at Riot/New York for the "amazing opportunity." "After building my career primarily in California, I'm eager about the move to New York and to play an instrumental role in expanding Riot's visual effects team," concludes Pink. "I'll be bringing my feature film experience to the New York marketplace, and I'm excited to translate that into commercial and music video projects."

Riot is a creative studio with unparalleled resources - virtually unmatched both creatively and technologically. The Riot team dedicates itself to attentive creative collaboration, approaching each project holistically, drawing upon a deep knowledge of visual effects, color correction and live action experience.

Recent feature film credits for Riot include: Die Hard 4, Live Free or Die Hard, Hairspray and currently finishing Dark is Rising, and Town Creek. Commercial campaigns and music videos recently completed at Riot include spots for Christina Aguilera, Sony, Volkswagen, Dodge, and Honda.
