Interview with Ji-Young Ahn, Jenny Hagmann, Maike Hamacher and Franz Reimer

October 3, 2007  |  Levent OZLER

For one day the exhibition "NEU06" transformed one of the most important shopping zones of Düsseldorf into a walkable museum for communication design.

The street changed into an exhibition area, shops and their windows became exhibits and the shoppers museum visitors.

A ten-minute audio tour imparts visitors interesting and striking information on the brand and communication strategies of selected shrines of consumption.

Ji-Young Ahn, Jenny Hagmann, Maike Hamacher and Franz Reimer conceived the exhibition.

For their outstanding performance, the four students have been awarded this year's red dot award: communication design, the red dot: best of the best.

This also means they are nominated for the red dot: junior prize, which will be awarded for the best student work.

red dot online interviewed the young designers about their work, their award and their plans for the future.
