Much of the work across the categories in this year's D&AD Awards is related to raising the profile of issues of social concern: from the environment and sustainability, to conflict around the world, to issues of poverty and famine.
Does this growing emphasis on innovative design with a conscience reflect a larger societal shift on cultural focus?
