More Than 200 Companies and Institutions From All Over Europe Apply for Design Management Prize

Almost 240 companies, institutions and organisations from 21 European countries followed the call for entries from the first Design Management Europe Award and applied for an award for outstanding design management.
The 38 winners have now been selected.
Among them are companies and institutions from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Great Britain, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Slovakia, and Turkey.
The prize-winners will be announced on 22 November 2007 at the festive award ceremony in the red dot design museum in Essen, Germany.
"The unexpectedly high number of participants in the competition and the great amount of outstanding high-quality examples of successful design management from all over Europe show how many companies are already placing very high value on the integration of design in all company areas and are implementing this integration actively and successfully," judges Professor Dr. Peter Zec, Senator of the international umbrella organisation of design Icsid as well as the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, one of 19 partners of this trans-European project.
