Say hello to "BEATS BY DR. DRE", (Beats), exclusive headphones designed by industrial design consultancy Ammunition in collaboration with acclaimed hip hop artist and producer Dr. Dre, Interscope Chair Jimmy Iovine, and audio manufacturer Monster Cable.

The over the ear headphones incorporate technologies never before utilized in this genre and deliver unrivaled sound quality, created through the professional music producers' experience, combined with high levels of industrial design, to the rock and hip hop listener.

Beats was launched today at the Consumer Electronics Show, Las Vegas, Nev.

Developed as a true business collaboration between Ammunition's founder and creative director Robert Brunner, Dr. Dre and famed Interscope Records Chair Jimmy Iovine, the project demonstrates how industrial designers can drive a more active role in business and development, where all parties share risks and rewards, and design is on par or placed above other functions typically driving a product to market.
