Mini skirt makeovers

Over the last couple of seasons, mini skirts have made a fashion comeback and while winter's fashion uniform included minis worn with wooly tights and boots, spring sees us combining denim minis with long socks and bright hosiery (who knows, maybe one day before June we'll even get to bare our legs). The must-have denim mini is probably Marc Jacobs' frayed hemline version with badges and patches. If you are tempted, the £315 price tag will probably convince you that it's a much better idea to make your own or look around for other customised versions. Play with accessories to make your mini skirt unique: attach chains to a pockets (easy to make from necklaces), go girly with ribbon details or go cosmic by attaching a string of genuine crystals.
