Interface(s): Digital Technologies for Everyday Life
February 27, 2008 | Levent OZLER
Interface(s) is an interactive environment composed of everyday life objects, which are interconnecting with a network and computers, proposing a new dedicated and lovely situations for a home.
This is one of those a environments, foreshadowing combination of Internet and objects.
Based on those principles, project "Interface(s)" proposes a mix of new "relational" technologies and objects for home: furnitures, decorative elements, comfort, lighting, etc.
The use of those "interfaces objects" is simple as 'piece of cake' - there's no need for any buttons, everything is set in a natural and poetic way.
Project "Interface(s)" was realized with support of VIA, as a part of Carte Blanche 2008 grant for design.
