Xoddo: New US Toy Company Lets Kids Design Their Own Stuffed Toys Online

Xoddo offers radical personalization of stuffed toys.
The new company lets children build characters online then have them made into actual stuffed creatures.
"It's like a combination of Build-A-Bear, Webkinz and Mr.Potato Head" says designer Russell Benfanti.
The Xoddo (pronounced "Zough-dough") website provides children with tools to build their own characters.
Designs are then cut, sewn and stuffed to become an actual soft custom toy.
Kids design creatures using multiple combinations of colors and patterns, unique facial features, body parts, clothes, accessories and text.
There are literally an unlimited number of possible combinations.
Xoddo is the brainchild of designer Russell Benfanti - an artist known for his character design and illustrations in the toy and children's publishing market.
