New Innermost Collection at 100 Design

New Innermost Collection at 100% Design

August 20, 2008  |  Levent OZLER

Innermost, the London and Hong Kong-based lighting and homewares design group announced the launch of key new products by leading designers at this years 100% Design, London for Spring 2009.

The collection will be distinguished by exciting collaborations with designers Peter Mac Cann / Made, designedbyitem and Massimo Fenati.

The collaboration with Peter Mac Cann / Made has created two stunning pieces covering both lighting and housewares, Halo and Tie.

Both designs are created from aluminium and mix the soft natural tone of the metal with bright paint finishes to create simplistic and stylish pieces.

Steve Jones co-founder of Innermost is particularly excited about this new collaboration with Peter Mac Can and Made their designs have a simple but elegant engineered quality that hides the complexity that has gone into creating them.

Working with Innermost for the first time, Cedric Ragot part of the design collection designedbyitem, created Mantel Dome a modern rendition of the venerable carriage clock.

The design highlights that time is precious and fragile, time should be glorified by placing it under the blown glass dome.

Massimo Fenati s Flick is a fun and witty play on the relationship between light and switch.

The piece gently diffuses the light within the interior, and you will never again miss the switch.
