Autodesk Expands Outreach To Design Centers in China

Autodesk and Tongji University, Shanghai, China, recently signed a memorandum to jointly establish a Center for Sustainable Design which would focus on areas such as the digital city, architectural design, multi-media and machinery manufacturing.
According to the plan, Autodesk will provide software and technical services worth $14.7 million.
In the past 10 years, Autodesk has established more than 10 "Centers of Excellence" with leading Chinese universities, including Tsinghua, Tongji, Harbin Industrial Institute and Shanghai JiaoTong University.
