Tuttobene Milan 2009

In April 2009 a selection of young Dutch designers will present their latest work at Tuttobene in Milan during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile.
After the successful show in April 2008 Tuttobene was given the opportunity to create a new edition for April 2009, by the EVD, the Agency for International Business and Cooperation of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.
David Heldt, co-founder of Tuttobene explains: "We consider the fact that the Dutch government supports Tuttobene as a huge compliment.
Especially now that many larger companies seem to face an uncertain economic period, we feel there are many opportunities for small innovative companies.
Most Dutch designers fit this definition.
Next to this, we think that building self-confidence as an industry and investing in new talents is very important."
The participating designers will be matched with specifically selected companies through individual matchmaking.
Also, they will receive information about how they can maximize the effect of their presentation.
This will be done during two special days, respectively focused on a good preparation before the fair, and a good follow-up afterwords.
The names of this years' participating designers, design offices and design labels, will be announced during the second half of February.
The deadline is Friday, February 6th.
