Smau Industrial Design Award

This year the 37th Award will become richer and even more innovative in line with the evolution of Smau, while continuing to recognize the traditional aesthetic, functional and creative values applied to the Information & Communications Technology sector:
Assessment criteria will also include "usability for all" , that is ease of use for all, including those with disabilities.
The "Prototype" category, which refers to products that are not exhibited at Smau 2004 or are not on the market yet or have not been defined completely, has come to include also software.
The Software category will also include middleware , an intermediate level between operating systems and applications.
The Award is also open to companies and professionals which are not exhibiting at Smau 2004 : a great opportunity for firms and designers who can thus achieve high visibility even without having a booth at the show.
To take part in the competition and be one of its key players, you need to fill out the application form and send it by September 30, 2004 to the Smau Industrial Design Award Secretariat (Via Merano 18, 20127 Milan, Italy, ph. +39 02 28313.461, fax +39 02 28313.235) with the requested documentation.
