Kitchen, Bath, Furniture & Built-in Appliances Fair Istanbul

The kitchen fair's revolution on stage! Between 6-10th of May, Istanbul's famous Kitchen- Bath- Furniture & Built-in Appliances Fair will be a gathering point for young talents meeting the international brands of kitchen industry. The fair which is devoted to "fresh new ideas" will open it's doors with a foyer signed by the well-known designer Adnan Serbest.

Survey Fuarcilik, with the goal of changing conventional perceptions of fairs, is converting MUDER's (Wooden Kitchen and Bathroom Furniture Industry and Importers Association ) Kitchen- Bath & Built-in Appliances Fair into "a platform of fresh and new ideas". Between 6-10th of May, displays by industrial design and interior decorating departments from universities, conferences on kitchen culture and design, and installations embedded with creative ideas will accompany the fair's international participants. Famous furniture designer Adnan Serbest's foyer design will welcome the visitors to the year's most "delicious" gathering.

With the consultancy of furniture designer Adnan Serbest, industrial designer Sertac Ersayin, and design communications specialist Umut Kart, the event brings the most important names of Turkish design field together. Besides many well-known professionals, Anatolian University, METU, Izmir University of Economics, Karadeniz Technical University, Bilkent University, Bahcesehir University, Beykent University, Eastern Mediterranean University, Istanbul Bilgi University's student projects regarding kitchen will be on display. Exhibition of IMMIB (Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association) which contributes generously to emerging young talents will also take place in the fair which is devoted to fresh minds and new ideas. Kitchen development of the 20th Century, ergonomics in the kitchen, the kitchen of the future, 2010 kitchen trends will be examined through series on conferences in which international names like IDSA's (Industrial Designers Society of America) Chairman of the Board Ron Kemnitze and architect/designer Harald SCHNUR will be speaking.

The fair will have its opening on Wednesday with participation of VdDK Kitchen Furniture Manufacturers Association President Dr. Lucas Heumann, FICCI India Chambers of Industry and Commerce Federation Vice President Balvinder Singh Sawhney, Mr. Lorenzo Toncelli board member of Assarredo (Italian Association of Furniture and Furnishing Manufacturers), Ms. Sabrina Brenna International Promotion of Federlegno-Arredo (Italian Federation of Wood, Cork, furniture and Furnishing Manufacturers).
