Power Innovation Game: a Practical Sustainable Design Experience

Sustainable design is an extensive hot topic, discussing about it is easy but the difficulties come when bringing it into practice.
The Power Innovation Game is an interactive, playful and practical workshop where you are guided through the principles of business development, product design and communication in relation to sustainability.
A practical design case will be introduced to start playing the game.
There is a Score system during the 5 different phases to win the game.
The better you apply the sustainable design strategies the more points you score.
An external jury will choose the winner.
This workshop considers the total lifecycle of products and services.
It challenges to find business opportunities from an environmental, social and economical perspective.
The presentation of short lectures through all stages of the workshop will make participants obtain enough knowledge to play the game as well as explore through the subject and elaborate their presentations.
The 20 players will be working in groups, experiencing the power of participating within multidisciplinary teams.
The scoring system will not only challenge the teams but also will give adequate feedback, ensuring the learning experience.
