African Elegance: Renowned Artist Tunde Owolabi Brings African Elegance to London

Songhai Creative presents African artist Tunde Owolabi's "African Elegance" the first major exhibition of new paintings by Owolabi will open at the Acquire art gallery on Wednesday 1st July.
The exhibition will include 25 works in total, which include paintings, sculpture and photography.
African Elegance is Tunde's first solo exhibition in the UK.
It is an exquisite reflection of African traditional fashion, which celebrates the inimitability of this great continent.
The exhibition will consist of paintings of an eclectic mix Africans from all corners of the continent.
The time-honoured adornments that they wear including jewellery and fabrics for different occasions with different meanings and significance are a major influence in each painting.
The poignant use of visual imagery and daring use of colour are key components of Owolabi's artistic vision.
Making a bold and exciting statement on how African art is to be interpreted in the modern age; African Elegance is a superb reflection of his talent.
