Audi Design Award Finalists Announced: Dutch Public Chooses Best Dutch Design 2009

The selection committee headed by Floris van Bommel has announced the names of the six finalists for the Audi Design Award.
The public can vote for their favourite design via the online voting module.
The selection committee has selected from more than 700 entries six finalists for the Audi Design Award, the public award of the internationally renowned Dutch Design Awards.
The submissions are comprised of open entries and scouted entries, and represent the very best Dutch Design of this year.
This year's finalists are: Firma Rieks Swarte with an animated picture story 'L'enfant et les Sortilèges' by Maurice Ravel, Eddy Kaijser, Bart Cardinaal & Nadine Roos with The Flying Grass Carpet, Studio Wieki Somers with Merry-go-round coat rack, Aldo Bakker with porcelain table ware, Urban Alliance with Moodwall, and Maarten Baas with Real Time.
The winner of this public award of the Dutch Design Awards will be announced on October 17th, 2009 during the Award Show in Eindhoven.
