August 10, 2009  |  Levent OZLER

Parsons The New School for Design will present its annual exhibition of MFA Photography thesis work in the Arnold and Sheila Aronson Galleries of the Sheila C. Johnson Center from August 24 through September 11.

The exhibition features thesis work by recent graduates, Madiha Aijaz, Emily Cameron, Jenna Choate, Francesco Donato, Jacqulyn Drayton, Daniel Durtsche, Amy Theiss Giese, Aaron E. Gustafson, Erik M. Heck, Olga Migliaressi Phoca, Lauren Pascarella, Peter Snyder, Keith Telfeyan, Merve Unsal and Jessica Yatrofsky.

Through three intensive eight-week summer residencies and two years of independent studies, the MFA Photography program at Parsons The New School for Design provides students with comprehensive theoretical and studio training in the art of photography.

Students work collaboratively on assignments while developing their own aesthetic, graduating with an accomplished portfolio and the technical skills they need to become successful photographers.
