DUCK's Jamie Caliri Earns Emmy

DUCK Director Jamie Caliri has won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Main Title Design for the title sequence of the Steven Spielberg produced Showtime series United States of Tara handed out last night at the Creative Arts Emmys.
The open features a colorful sequence of backgrounds constructed to resemble the paperboard landscape of a pop-up book.
The scene shifts from a domestic world of oven mits and suburbia to a scene of beer-drinking full-throttle motorcycle craziness to the cluttered room of a ponytailed, thong-wearing teenager, paralleling the many personas of main character Tara, a single mother stricken with multiple personality disorder.
