Icograda Announces 2009-2011 Executive Board Candidates

Icograda has announced the candidates for election to the 2009-2011 Executive Board who will be selected at the General Assembly 23 taking place in Beijing (China) from 24-25 October 2009.

Russell Kennedy (Australia), currently serving as President Elect, will become President of the board and Don Ryun Chang (Korea), current President, will assume the position of Past President.

Global advocacy, unity and engagement have been highlighted as priorities.

As the voice of members in 67 countries and regions around the globe, Icograda will build on existing relationships and create new dialogue with governments, NGO's, global forums and corporate stakeholders, actively encouraging and promoting an international culture of design collaboration and alliance building around the world.

Stronger ties with policy makers and design promotion bodies will be fostered through forums that promote and develop the international social and economic agenda.
