Design Chicago 2010: Exhibit Featuring Chicago Artists

Design Chicago 2010 will feature new work by Chicago-based or originated, graphic, industrial, and interior designers.
An exhibition of all things design, Design Chicago 2010 will blur the lines between art and design, design as model for the betterment of humanity, and the multi-faceted nature to the practice and professional responsibility of a working "designer."
Participating in the exhibition are Studio 1 a.m., Project H Design, Craighton Berman, Perkins+Will, and Rotofugi, each bringing a unique perspective to what design is today and how it affects our daily lives.
In conjunction with the exhibition, the Gallery of Art and Design will present three design-based lectures scheduled throughout the exhibition and will feature a mini-book launch in honor of Emily Pilloton of Project H Design's new book, Design Revolution. 100 Products that Empower People.
