Not Business as Usual: A Guide to Government Incentive Programs for Small Business

The economy has changed radically throughout the world in the last year.

The impact has been strongly felt in the design community in New York City: projects have been put on hold or altogether stopped, new commissions are not readily forthcoming; and firms have begun, in turn, to downsize.

Many of our colleagues are losing their jobs while young professionals are not being hired.

The "Not Business as Usual" program focuses on what design professionals need to do now for themselves and their firms.

The program is a compilation of information about a number of New York City, state and federal assistance programs that are available to the New York business community.

The session included a description of qualifications / eligibility requirements, benefits, fees and information for several government incentives that exist.
