Next February, the attention of the world will focus on the community of Millennium Water at South East False Creek - as the site of the Vancouver Olympic Village for the 2010 Winter Games.
This will be the grand introduction of the largest sustainable neighbourhood in North America - an outstanding example of how planning and development can deliver a vision of environmental stewardship.
A vision that has been in the works for some twenty years.
The Challenge Series is an eight-chapter book celebrating the innovation behind the planning, design and construction of this unique sustainable community.
