December 14, 2009 | Levent OZLER
The Design Business Association announced the appointment of four new directors to its Board; Jim Thompson, Managing Director at 20/20; Jonathan Ford, Creative Partner at Pearlfisher; Keith Forbes, Managing Director at Good Creative and Laura Haynes, Chair at Appetite.
DBA Directors must be directors of DBA member companies and will serve a two-year term on the Board.
All four Board directors were voted in by the DBA membership at the recent AGM, which took place at the DBA's offices in Clerkenwell on 7 December.
Keith Forbes and Laura Haynes had previously been co-opted to the Board mid-term, with their positions confirmed at the AGM.
The role of a DBA Board Director is to offer guidance and contribute expertise. They have ultimate responsibility for the prosperity of the DBA.
The new directors join Chairman Anthony Simonds-Gooding, President Nick Ramshaw, John Corcoran of Wire Design, Will Rowe of Rufus Leonard, Helen Blake of Absolute Design, and Rosalyn Scott of Dalziel & Pow.
