Italian Style: Dressing Home
January 22, 2010 | Levent OZLER
Italy is the center of arts and culture, and even now "Made in Italy" is a synonym for high quality and style.
This is still legible in our daily living space from furniture and tableware to furnishing accessories, such as a wine opener and a place mat.
Italian Style: Dressing Home features indoor furnishing design works, including furniture, lighting equipments and kitchen utensils, which are designed by more than 70 world star designers of the 20th century, notably Alessanro Mendini, Achile Castiglioni and Phillip Stark.
Co-hosted by the Sartirana Art Foundation in Italy, Italian Cultural Institute in Seoul, Embassy of Italy in Korea and the Korea Foundation, the exhibition displays design works of famous furniture, lighting and sivlerware producers such as Zanotta, Kartell, Alessi, and Artemide.
