Raymond Cekauskas Named 2010 President of AIA Detroit

The American Institute of Architects Detroit announced the election of Southfield architect Raymond Cekauskas, AIA, LEEDAP, EDAC, as its 2010 president.
As AIA Detroit president, Cekauskas will focus on building membership value and public awareness about architecture through progressive programming and community outreach.
"We are honored to have Ray as our AIA Detroit president for 2010," said Rae Dumke, Hon. AIA, Executive Director of AIA Detroit.
"As our city continues to work towards becoming more sustainable, we know that he will help advance our mission by promoting the value of good design and emphasizing the role architects have in our city."
