City of Dreams Pavilion Competition Jurors Announced

FIGMENT, The Emerging New York Architect Committee (ENYA) of the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter (AIANY) and the Structural Engineers Association of New York (SEAoNY) announced the jurors for the 2010 City of Dreams Pavilion Competition to design and construct a pavilion on Governors Island.
The jurors are Matthew Bremer, Aleksey Lukyanov-Cherny, Martin Pedersen, Rob Rogers and Thomas Z. Scarangello.
The deadline for registration extended to February 16.
The City of Dreams Pavilion is an international design competition to design and build a pavilion as a central gathering place on Governors Island.
The competition is unique in that it asks designers to source their materials as part of the design, and to have as little environmental impact as possible in the sourcing, construction, and de-installation of the pavilion.
